I discovered my passion for making during the Covid-19 lockdown. While staying with a friend’s family and searching for ways to pass the time, I came across an old sewing machine and a few bags of unwanted clothes. That moment sparked something in me. I spent the whole summer teaching myself to sew, and I haven’t stopped since. What began as a creative escape has grown into a deep passion for upcycling, which I later honed through a Fashion degree.
Sustainability is a core value in my practice and I am committed to minimum-waste production. I use patternmaking, draping, and freehand crochet to create unique, one-of-a-kind garments from scratch, as can be seen in my portfolio pieces. Wherever possible, I work with deadstock and recycled fabrics, aiming to give new life to pre-existing materials.
